The objectives of the Marketing & Communication Unit are to:

    • Enhance and protect the UTS brand.
    • Position UTS as a leading national and international university.
    • Continue to raise the profile of UTS within its identified target groups.
    • Spread the level of UTS influence within its identified groups.
    • Spread the level of UTS influence in the national and international arena.
    • Develop a marketing culture to improve and enhance the University's interaction with both its internal and external communities.

    MCU carries out its responsibilities by providing brand development, corporate identity, internal communication, marketing and media services for UTS. The unit consists of the following teams:
