The Marketing and Communication Unit (MCU) projects and protects the university's desired image. Our creative solutions tell the UTS story, engaging external audiences and empowering internal audiences. We can help you with:
Communication
Advice and assistance with communication planning, copywriting, electronic noticeboards/campus screens, photographic services, Inbrief eNewsletters and U: magazine.
Creative services
We develop and maintain UTS's visual identity, offer supplier advice and oversee publication design, print management and access to faculty/unit image libraries.
Events and exhibitions
Coordinate pan-University events and many priority faculty/unit specific events, as well as advise UTS staff organising festivals, workshops, launches, exhibitions, talks, recruitment events and dining events.
Marketing services
We work with the faculty marketing managers to develop the UTS brand strategy, advertising campaigns, market research and student recruitment, to promote UTS to domestic and international markets.
Public and media relations
Provide advice on dealing with the media, promoting your research and writing press releases, coordinate the UTSpeaks lecture series and maintain the Newsroom website.
Specialist marketing and communication services
MCU has specialists dedicated to working with RIO (supporting research centres and institutes) and FMU (communicating campus developments as we execute the Campus Masterplan).
